Meshing is a type of the Network topologies to connect devices in a certain way. There are two types of meshed topology: Partial and Full. In a Partial meshed topology all the nodes are not connected to every other node while in a Full meshed topology all the nodes are connected to every other node. Both topologies are describes below in the Figure.

Mesh topology can have both physical and logical topologies. For example, In a LAN, a physical bus topology can have all the devices meshed, since they are connected to the same piece of wire, this is fully physical and logical meshed topology. WANs use the Partial meshed topology to minimize the cost of connected devices. For example the above figure shows the Partial mesh topology, the top, left and bottom nodes can communicate through the node on the right so there must be some delay in communication but it minimizes the cost.
