Fault in the application software or fault in the
application specification may be reason of any major
error in application. E.g. Reason of incorrect result
may be error in development phase or in algorithm that
relates to specification. There are two types of testing
dynamic testing, static testing. Executing software and
finding errors is dynamic testing. The review,
inspection and validation of development requirements is
the static testing. For best result of testing, use both
dynamic and static testing techniques.
Testing and Quality Assurance
Quality is defined as an application that meets the all
requirement and clearly verifiable. Quality Assurance
and Quality Control are two distinct things. Quality
control is a process that validating the application is
error free and is the best approach that can be adopt.
While QA is the process in which goal is reviewed by
improving the processes. QA is efficient approach to
producing high quality product and QA is often external
process. One more purpose for reviewing project is
identify defects and then given suggestion for
improvements on the basis of review. At the end result
we will able to achieve high quality product. From the
client’s point of view, an application quality is high
if it meets all their requirements. |
